1) Positivity Moment: Write the best thing in the past week on a sticky note, post it!

2) Get Ready for BUDDY DAY!

  1. Find your name on the list here.
  2. Write yourself a sticky note or set an alarm for 10:52 tomorrow with the following information:
    1. Your buddy/buddies' names 
    2. The room you need to go to
    3. Go straight to that room tomorrow!

3) Advisory Guide Time! Fill it in!

  1. Complete your Advisee Snapshot.
  2. Make sure one SMART goal is filled in.
  3. If needed, finish your rules and success reflection from last week.
  4. Track YOUR success! (You'll have time to finish on Thursday)
    1. Progress Report Grades:
      1. Check PowerSchool.
      2. Label your y-axis from 0-100.
      3. Put today's date on the x-axis.
      4. Mark each grade in a different color where it falls. 
    2. College Career Readiness:
      1. Create your own ranking system along the y-axis (consider fired, intern, manager, CEO).
      2. Put today's date on the x-axis.
      3. Rank where you are today.
    3. Time Spent Studying and Procrastinating:
      1. Create your y-axis.
      2. Put today's date on the x-axis.
      3. Mark your time spent studying last week in one color and time spent procrastinating in another color.
    4. Positivity:
      1. Create your y-axis.
      2. Put today's date on the x-axis.
      3. Mark where you are today!
4) Exit Ticket: Which part of the Advisory Guide that you filled in today was the most interesting to you? Why?

1) Warm Up: Make sure you are in the right place and find a seat with your buddy!


2) Play "Would You Rather" with your buddy.

3) Create a stick figure LEC SuperStudent. 

  1. What awesome skills do you and your buddy have that when combined create a super student?
  2. Sketch and label a SuperStudent on your sticky note. 
4) Time for you!
  1. Ask each other questions! Share favorite clubs.
  2. Decide when and where to meet before Thanksgiving Break. At a club? Eat lunch together? In the library to study? It's up to you!

1) Warm Up: Content Connections Stand, Share, Sit: Share the most interesting, depressing, or inspiring thing you've learned in the past two weeks.

2) Advisory Guide Time! Fill it in!
  1. Flip to the Learning Profile sheet.
    1. Fill in the VARK row using your findings from AVID.
  2. Flip to the Personal Reflections.
    1. Go to the second reflection.
    2. Today's prompt:
      1. Just write: Buddy Day Summary
      2. Respond to the following: Tell me about buddy day! What did you and your buddy learn from each other? When will you meet outside of class?
