Grade Check and Study Calendar

1) Warm Up: Grade Check
  1. Add on to your semester 1 grades, positivity, college and career readiness, and time spent studying vs procrastinating graphs in your Advisory guide.
2) Create your Study Calendar
  1. Highlight the days you have exams.
  2. Review exam procedures.
  3. Set a goal for each day between now and Dec 20!
3) Choose your study partner!

1) Warm Up: Snowball Fight
  1. Write two exam tips:
    1. One should be about how to answer tough questions
    2. The other should be about how to avoid freaking out
  2. Ball up your tips.
  3. Throw them.
  4. Share one that you pick up with the class.
2) Look at the back of your calendar and create your review packet and key.

Study Tool Share and Destress Day

1) Warm Up: Laptop Turn In

  1. Keep your laptop bag. Put your name on it on tape and put it with the Advisory Guides OR leave it in your backpack. 
  2. Put tape around or on your charger cord. Write your name on the tape.
  3. Plug your charger into your laptop and wind it up.
  4. Leave this on the designated table.
  5. Sign the laptop turn in sheet.
2) Study Tool Share
  1. Break into groups.
  2. Share what type of study tool you created.
  3. Use each study tool.
  4. Help each other answer any current questions.

Destress and Quiet Study Day

1) Warm Up:
  1. Ask any exam questions.
  2. Write yourself a positive note.
  3. Create a list of reminders for yourself (ie: Eat breakfast, etc)
2) Study Quietly By:
  1. Condensing your notes.
  2. Making flash cards.
  3. Finding videos and putting them in a Google doc.
  4. Using your study tool or review packets.
  5. *Or read.*
